Lisa Sheehy did her physiotherapy training at McMaster University and has been a physiotherapist since 1992. After working for 12 years in a hospital and in private practice, she went to complete her MSc and PhD in Rehabilitation Science at Queen’s University, graduating in 2013. Lisa is now a postdoctoral fellow at the Bruyère Research Institute and the University of Ottawa. Her research focusses on the use of technology for rehabilitation, in particular the use of virtual reality for recovery after stroke.
